This Privacy Policy explains how Borneo Match (“the App”, “we”, “us”) handles personal and device data for users in the regions where the App is distributed (currently excluding the United Kingdom and the EEA).
Summary
- We do not require account signup and we do not collect names, emails, or passwords.
- The App displays ads using Google AdMob SDK. AdMob and its partners may process your Advertising ID (AD_ID), approximate location (from IP), device information, app interactions, and crash/diagnostic data for advertising and analytics.
- No precise location, contacts, photos, microphone, or camera data are accessed by the App.
Data We Process
- Advertising & analytics data (via AdMob SDK): Advertising ID (AD_ID), app usage events, approximate location, device information (e.g., model, OS), and diagnostic/crash logs.
- Crash & performance data: app stability and performance metrics to improve the App.
Purposes
- Show ads and measure their performance.
- Analytics and app improvement.
- Compliance with legal obligations and platform policies.
Children
This App is not directed to children under 13. If our distribution expands to audiences that include children, we will configure AdMob accordingly (e.g., “Designed for Families”) and avoid personalized ads to children.
Sharing & Third Parties
We share data with service providers solely to operate the App:
- Google AdMob (ads delivery and measurement).
Your Choices
- Reset/limit Ads personalization: Android Settings → Google → Ads (or “Privacy” → “Ads”) → Reset advertising ID or Opt out of Ads personalization.
Data Retention
We retain data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above, or as required by law. Ad networks may retain aggregated metrics for longer periods.
Security
We use industry-standard security practices to protect data in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
